Oxford House

Oxford House is an arts and cultural space located in a Grade II listed with great rehearsal and performance facilities. It is also easily accessible by public transport (Central Line, Overground and buses. Plus, as a registered charity all income from hires helps us to provide a programme of community arts for all ages through the year.

Studio theatre 

Taking centre stage at Oxford House is our intimate theatre space. Full of character, it has a sprung wooden floor and a retractable seating rack for 120 people.  It is perfect for rehearsals, comedy nights, plays, performances and screenings. The backstage area comprises of a well-lit dressing room for up to six performers (complete with Hollywood-style mirrors), an accessible toilet, a green room and a backstage bar. 

Equipment includes full sound and lighting, a data projector and screen and an air handling system.

Dance Studio

The dance studio is an adaptable space that can be used for all types of dance, rehearsals, fitness classes and performances. This spacious studio features a sprung wooden floor, full-length mirror wall, an upright piano and a sound system. It also boasts natural light and an air handling system along with accessible changing rooms on the same floor.

Dimensions: 8.5 x 8.4 x 4.5m.

Chapel

The Chapel is a beautiful, atmospheric and extremely versatile space. Lovingly restored in 2019, the wood-panelled space makes an incredible backdrop for intimate gigs, recitals, screenings or rehearsals. Comes with a portable PA and lighting system. Ideal for photoshoots and filming. Also great for an away day to remember. Situated on the third floor, this space can be hired out exclusively with the Settlement Room and Roof Terrace.

Roof Terrace

The roof terrace is a stunning events space with 360-degree protected views of the iconic City of London skyline. Accommodates up to 60 people, the roof is ideal for photo shoots, launches, away days and events. In spring and summer, it becomes the perfect space to hold outdoor yoga, fitness, art and photography classes in a distinctive setting.

Café 

The large café area and kitchen at Oxford House are the heart of our building. Bright and airy with views overlooking Weaver’s Field Park. It can be configured for a variety of purposes, making it a truly multi-use space. Ideal as a breakout space from rehearsals for cast and crew. With its own PA system and speakers, it is perfect for networking events, intimate gigs, supper clubs and wedding receptions.
